2. CAREER DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING
This section describes our practices with respect to the career information you provide to us, which is one of the core functions of the FindYouJobs platform.

This data is used in combination with your Career Profile Data to generate job matches, career insights, and other outputs. |
Persistence of Career Information. Career Profile Data and AI-Generated Career Insights are persisted in your account for so long as your account remains active. As our models improve over time, we may generate additional or updated insights from Career Profile Data we have already collected. If we intend to generate materially new categories of insights not disclosed at the time of collection, we will provide you with notice and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent before doing so.

FindYouJobs will not make your career data, job-match results, assessment scores, interview-preparation activity, or session data visible to any employer or other third party (other than an Institutional Customer acting in accordance with Section 5 below) unless you affirmatively choose to share such information. Where you access the Services through an Institutional Customer, the Institutional Customer will have access to the data described in Section 5 (How Personal Data Is Shared) by default. You may adjust your sharing preferences for additional data categories beyond that baseline by contacting us at info@findyoujobs.com.
Sensitive Nature of Career Data. Depending on the information you provide and the career insights generated by the Services, the processing described above may involve data that is considered sensitive under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, including information about race, ethnicity, national origin, disability status, veteran status, or other protected characteristics that may be present in or inferred from your resume, employment history, or other career information. By using the Services, you expressly consent to our collection, use, and processing of such sensitive data as described in this Privacy Policy, solely for the purpose of providing the Services. You acknowledge that this processing is necessary to provide the core functionality of the Services. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time as described in Section 7 (Your Privacy Rights) below. Withdrawal of consent is prospective only and does not affect the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to your withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent will limit your ability to use certain core features of the Services. To the extent required by applicable U.S. state law, you may also exercise your right to limit the use of your sensitive Personal Data as described in Section 8 (U.S. State Privacy Law Disclosures) below.
3. SENSITIVE DATA
Certain categories of Personal Data we collect or infer may be considered "sensitive" under applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and comparable state statutes) and may be subject to heightened legal requirements.
| Category of Sensitive Data | How We Collect or Infer It | How It May Be Used or Disclosed |

We will not use inferences about protected characteristics for any purpose other than providing career insights and recommendations, and will not disclose such inferences to third parties for their own independent use. |

By using the Services and providing your career information, you expressly consent to our collection, use, and processing of sensitive data as described in this Privacy Policy, solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
4. HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA
We use the Personal Data we collect and receive as described below.
To provide and facilitate your engagement with the Services. We may use your Personal Data to provide personalized career guidance, job matching, resume recommendations, skills-gap analyses, interview preparation materials, and other career insights. To generate career insights and recommendations. We use the Personal Data we collect (including your Career Profile Data, job-search activity, and other information) to generate AI-powered career insights, job matches, resume optimization recommendations, and other outputs. These outputs are used to provide and improve the Services and to personalize your experience.
To communicate with you. We may use your Personal Data to respond to your inquiries, comments, feedback, or questions, and send administrative information to you (for example, information regarding the Services, and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies). We may also send you marketing and promotional communications, including information about products, services, and events that may be of interest to you. If you wish to opt out of marketing communications, you may use the unsubscribe link in any email received from us, or email us with “OPT-OUT,” “UNSUBSCRIBE,” “STOP,” or “REMOVE” in the subject line.
To improve our Services. We may use the Personal Data we collect and receive, including feedback you provide, to conduct research, and to analyze, develop, troubleshoot, increase functionality, and otherwise improve the Services, including training and improving our machine-learning models and algorithms using de-identified or aggregated data; provided that FindYouJobs will not use any content submitted by or on behalf of an Institutional Customer or any of its authorized end users for the purpose of training, improving, or updating machine-learning models or algorithms. As our models improve, we may generate additional or updated insights from Career Profile Data we have already collected. If we intend to generate materially new categories of insights, we will provide notice and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent.
To protect you and the Services. We may use your Personal Data to prevent fraud, criminal activity, or misuse of our Services, and to ensure the security of our IT systems, architecture, and networks. We may also use Personal Data to comply with legal obligations and legal process.
To customize your experience. We may suggest jobs, career paths, or skills development opportunities that may interest you, or new features you may want to try.
For Institutional Customer purposes. Where you access the Services through or at the direction of an Institutional Customer (such as a career center, outplacement firm, staffing company, or educational institution), we may use your Personal Data to provide that Institutional Customer with administrative dashboards, analytics, and reports relating to their authorized end users, as described in Section 5 (How Personal Data Is Shared) and the applicable agreement between FindYouJobs and the Institutional Customer.
Other purposes. Other purposes if we obtain your consent.
5. HOW PERSONAL DATA IS SHARED
FindYouJobs does not sell or share (as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws) your Personal Data to or with third parties. We may share Personal Data in accordance with your preferences, as needed to run our business and provide the Services, and where required for legal purposes. The table below describes the circumstances in which we share your Personal Data.
| Circumstance | Description |
|---|---|
| Service Providers | We may share Personal Data with third parties who provide services to us, such as supporting, improving, promoting, and securing the Services, and processing payments. We may also engage service providers to collect information about your use of the Services over time on our behalf. Service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us. |
| Institutional Customer Access | Where you access the Services through or at the direction of an Institutional Customer (for example, through a career center, outplacement program, or staffing agency), that Institutional Customer will have access to certain information about your use of the Services, including your career profile, resume data, job-search activity, and engagement metrics, to the extent authorized by the applicable agreement. This access applies by default when you create your account through an Institutional Customer’s deployment of the Services; you do not need to take any additional action to enable it. FindYouJobs will not provide an Institutional Customer with access to your data unless: (i) you created your account through that Institutional Customer’s deployment of the Services, or you have otherwise authorized the Institutional Customer’s access; and (ii) the scope of access is set forth in the applicable agreement. You may review and adjust your sharing preferences for additional data categories beyond the baseline described above at any time by contacting us at info@findyoujobs.com. Institutional Customers are contractually required to: (i) use your Personal Data only for the authorized purposes; (ii) handle it in compliance with applicable privacy law; (iii) implement and maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data; (iv) cooperate with applicable deletion requests; (v) not sell, resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the data to any third party without FindYouJobs’s prior written consent; and (vi) promptly notify FindYouJobs of any actual or suspected breach or unauthorized access involving your data. |
| Third-Party Integrations | The Services may allow you to connect with third-party applications, services, or platforms. Your use of any third-party integration is solely governed by the terms and privacy policies of that provider. We do not control, endorse, or assume liability for any third-party service or integration. |
| Aggregated and De-Identified Information | We may de-identify and aggregate the Personal Data you and others make available in connection with the Services and share it with third parties. Aggregated information describes groups of users without identifying any individual (e.g., aggregate workforce trends or career-market analyses). Anonymous information may include row-level data where there is no reasonable means to re-identify the individual. |
| Acquirers of Our Business or Assets | If we become involved in a business combination, securities offering, bankruptcy, reorganization, dissolution, or other similar transaction, we may share or transfer your information in connection with such transaction. |
| Legal Requirements | We may preserve and share your information with third parties, including law enforcement, public or governmental agencies, or private litigants, if we determine that such disclosure is compelled by or reasonably necessary to comply with the law, including to respond to court orders, warrants, subpoenas, or other legal or regulatory process, or otherwise permitted by law. We may also retain, preserve, or disclose your Personal Data if we determine that it is reasonably necessary or appropriate to: (1) prevent any person from death or serious bodily injury; (2) address issues of national security or other importance; (3) prevent or detect violations of our Terms of Service or fraud or abuse of our Services or our users; or (4) protect our operations or our property or other legal rights. |
Student Data and FERPA. Where an Institutional Customer is an educational institution or other entity subject to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g), FindYouJobs’s processing of student education records is governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) between FindYouJobs and the Institutional Customer. The DPA sets forth the parties’ respective obligations with respect to the use, disclosure, security, and retention of student education records, including FERPA-required restrictions on re-disclosure. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the terms of an applicable DPA with respect to student education records, the DPA will control.
6. DATA RETENTION
We keep Personal Data for as long as you use the Services or otherwise as authorized under this Privacy Policy, or as reasonably necessary or advisable to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide the Services, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, protect against fraud, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.
Career Profile Data and AI-Generated Career Insights are persisted in your account for so long as your account remains active. Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your Personal Data in accordance with Section 7 below. As our models improve over time, we may generate additional or updated insights from Career Profile Data we have already collected, but only within the categories of insights described at the time your data was collected or as updated with appropriate notice. FindYouJobs Derived Outputs (as defined in our Terms of Service) that have already been incorporated into aggregate, de-identified, or anonymized analytical products may not be capable of being extracted or deleted individually; upon receipt of a valid deletion request, FindYouJobs will assess technical feasibility and delete or de-identify such data to the extent required by applicable law.
7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Privacy laws provide certain rights to users in certain jurisdictions. Below are rights that may be available to you under applicable laws. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@findyoujobs.com. We may verify your identity before processing your request. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may also require you to verify your own identity directly with us. We will generally respond to requests within 45 days of receipt. Where additional time is needed, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for the delay.
Access and Portability. You have the right to know, and request access to, the Personal Data we collect, use, share, or otherwise process about you. You can access much of your information by logging into your account. If you require additional access, please contact us.
Right to Rectify, Restrict, and Delete. You have the right to rectify, restrict, or delete Personal Data, including by requesting that we correct where inaccurate, restrict, or delete your Personal Data on your behalf. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at info@findyoujobs.com. Upon receipt of a valid deletion request: (i) Career Profile Data (resumes, employment history, education, skills, and career goals) will be deleted; (ii) AI-Generated Career Insights and Job-Search Activity Data will be deleted, subject to any legal retention obligations; (iii) FindYouJobs Derived Outputs that have already been incorporated into aggregate, de-identified, or anonymized analytical products may not be capable of individual extraction, and we will assess technical feasibility and delete or de-identify such data to the extent required by applicable law; and (iv) to the extent an Institutional Customer has accessed your Personal Data through the Services prior to receipt of your deletion request, FindYouJobs will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify the relevant Institutional Customer and to remove your data from the Institutional Customer’s view within the Services, but cannot guarantee the deletion of data that the Institutional Customer may have exported or downloaded prior to your request.
Right to Object. Where we process your information based on our legitimate interests, you can object to this processing under certain circumstances. To exercise this right, please contact us at info@findyoujobs.com.
Right to Revoke Consent. To the extent we rely on your consent to engage in certain processing, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
No Sale or Sharing of Personal Data. FindYouJobs does not sell or share (as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws) your Personal Data to or with third parties. Accordingly, there is no need to opt out of such sale or sharing.
Right to Non-Discrimination. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of your privacy rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
Right to Lodge a Complaint. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your state Attorney General's office or other applicable regulatory authority.

9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
FindYouJobs is based in the United States. The Services are intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may provide different protections than those in your country of residence. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States.
10. USE OF COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Please note that we use cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with the Services. Page views and user interactions are tracked within the Services to improve your experience.
We and our third-party service providers may use cookies, pixels, or other tracking technologies to collect information about your use of the Services over time. We use this information solely for first-party analytics purposes, including to understand how users interact with the Services, improve functionality, and diagnose technical issues. We do not use tracking technologies to serve targeted advertisements or to enable third-party advertising networks.
Some browsers have a "do not track" feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Currently, we do not respond to legacy browser "do not track" signals. However, we recognize and process Global Privacy Control ("GPC") opt-out preference signals to the extent required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), and other applicable U.S. state privacy laws. Because FindYouJobs does not sell or share your Personal Data as those terms are defined under the CCPA, a GPC signal will not result in a change to our processing practices, but we will process GPC signals as confirmation of your opt-out preference.
11. SECURITY
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, including Personal Data. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of your information and designed to protect against unauthorized access, disclosures, or access to Personal Data. In the event of a confirmed breach of our systems that compromises your Personal Data, we will notify affected users within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, or such shorter period as may be specified in an applicable Order Form or other written agreement between FindYouJobs and the affected party, or as otherwise required by applicable law. Nonetheless, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically, and transmission of such data, including Personal Data, is therefore entirely at your own risk.
12. AGE REQUIREMENTS
The Services are designed and intended for individuals who have reached the age of sixteen (16). By accessing and using the Services, you affirm that you are at least sixteen (16) years of age. We are not liable for any damages that may result from a user's misrepresentation of age.
