Subprocessors

Last updated: September 8, 2026

To provide the FindYouJobs Services, we rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers ("subprocessors") that process data on our behalf. This page lists those subprocessors, what they do, and the categories of data they process. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Data sent to our AI provider. The résumé and career text you provide is sent to OpenAI to generate your results. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government identifiers, or dates of birth. Under our signed Data Processing Addendum with OpenAI, data submitted through the API is not currently used to train OpenAI's models. We monitor our vendor agreements and will update this page if this changes.

How we manage subprocessors

We require each subprocessor to protect data under a written agreement with data-protection terms consistent with our own commitments, and we select providers that maintain recognized security programs such as SOC 2. Each subprocessor is engaged only to help us operate and improve the Services and may not use data for its own independent purposes.

Job and labor-market data providers

To find and research jobs, we also send search parameters (such as a job title and location) to job-listing, company-data, and web-search providers, including Adzuna, SerpAPI, Apify, Finnhub, and Tavily. These providers receive your search terms, not your account profile or résumé.

Student data and FERPA

Where an institutional customer is an educational institution subject to FERPA, our processing of student education records is governed by a separate Data Processing Addendum between FindYouJobs and that institution, which includes FERPA-required restrictions on use and re-disclosure. We do not use student education records to train machine-learning models.

Changes to this list

We update this page when our subprocessors change. Institutional customers may request advance notice of new subprocessors by contacting us at info@findyoujobs.com. Institutional customers have thirty (30) days from notice to raise a reasonable, data-protection-based objection to a new subprocessor, as further set out in our Data Processing Addendum.
